Scholarship Funding
Domestic Students
The MPH program offers a number of internal entrance scholarships to top ranked candidates. Students do not apply for these scholarships but will be notified if they have been selected following the application review. These entrance awards are the only departmental (internal) scholarships available to MPH applicants. There may be related external funding opportunities available for which you can apply. In addition, both domestic and international students are eligible for certain stipend amounts dependent upon the chosen pathway, thesis or practicum. More information on stipends can be found in the MPH Handbook.
Applicants for Canadian Graduate Scholarships – Master’s (CGS-M) program awards are due December 1 and are applied for through the federal website. Information on OGS awards can be found on the Graduate Studies website. Please note, students are responsible for applying to these awards independently. The MPH program office does not administer these external scholarships.
Domestic full-time students who are eligible may apply for OSAP; more information can be found on the Office of the Registrar‘s website. The MPH program office is not able to advise students on OSAP related questions. Please contact the appropriate representatives in the Office of the Registrar.
International
Both domestic and international students are eligible for certain stipend amounts dependent upon thesis or practicum pathways. There are no other scholarships for international students offered by the MPH program at this time. International students can refer to the Future International Students website and the School of Graduate Studies scholarship and international webpages for more information on funding opportunities.
